A study of ‘Re-Making’ a medium-sized Irish town the victim of planning failures. Most dwellings had been laid out in dispersed, motor-dependent sprawl within the historic agricultural field pattern. The project sought to remake connections between residents and facilities.
Studies of existing development patterns were followed by analysis of how new connections could be made directly between people’s homes and their friends, shops and workplaces in the town.
